How to create the perfect flatlay

Today I want to share with you my favorite tips on how to create the perfect flatlay. It not's about throwing all your stuff on the floor and taking a picture of it - you have to care about geometry, colors and shape and the right accessories.

Follow these 4 simple rules to take a perfect flatlay picture

 

1. Matching colors

It's important not to mix too many colors, but the right ones. You could make a monochromatic flatlay with just black and white or with a pop of color. I always like to use colors from the same family, e.g. rose and beige tones together.

2. Geometry is key 

Sometimes it looks quite cool and edgy if your flatlay looks like you've just thrown all your stuff on the floor and took a picture of it. But most of the time I like to go for straight lines, rectangle shapes and not too much chaos.

1. Create a SEO-friendly post structure

Seriously, I'm in love with the color combination in interior and living! I'm wondering if a lite pink (Rose Quartz) wall color would fit my new living room or if my boyfriend would break up immediately. I got a cute baby blue chair last year and I think it would be the perfect match!

There is one fashion item that's on my wish list for so long already, and when I saw that there is a version in Serenity, I needed to get them. I'm talking about the Valentino Rockstud pumps, and yes, I'm in love! They will match perfectly with a nice pink bomber jacket. Can't wait to wear this combination!

The only thing pastel in my make up bag would be nailpolish. Maybe a little rose blush, but that's it. Blue just doesn't suit my blue eyes (way too much!) and pink is the color for girls with long blonde hair and beachy teint (not me!). Am I wrong? Maybe I need to re-think a couple of things because Rose Quartz and Serenity also seem to be a really promising beauty match.

We are moving! And this is the first glance from our brand new bedroom. I wanted to keep it clean, but with a little hint of color - in my case it's a lite baby pink tone (rose quartz!) mixed with grey and white.
